There are psychic medium, spiritual medium, medium are ‘receivers’ who can pick up on beings from the spirit world. These are not always human. They could also be animals – beloved pets or other creatures.

Mediums are nearly always also clairvoyants but not all clairvoyants are mediums. This is a belief that both Colin Fry and I both share.

A session with a medium is very different from a session with a clairvoyant, remember there are psychic medium, spiritual mediums.

I feel I should stress the importance of the difference between the two, because it is a mistake that is commonly made when people make a booking with me having read some promotional advertisement or such like and not by word of mouth which is the method by which I always prefer to work.

Many believe that I can perform as a medium for them, then they say, without giving much away, ‘I want to know something about my future’. I put them right at this point and stress that mediums do not predict the future all the time in the way that clairvoyants do.

So, just to recap, mediums talk to the spirit world, or ghosts in haunted locations, and clairvoyants predict the future just like a card reader would.

I personally have always been a medium. I have been blessed with many gifts which I have always thought of as normal. However, some of these are ireally very rare in both mediums and clairvoyants.

I can see, touch, smell, taste and hear those souls from the spirit world.

When I say I can taste, what I mean is that when the medium ‘receives’ a certain taste from the spirit world - for example orange - the medium would have a taste of orange in their mouth.

In this instance, if I did not have a picture or any other information to go on, I would ask the client what the importance is regarding oranges and there could be something in their life for which this symbol is a strong link with the person in the spirit world.

The medium would also work in many ways on a higher vibration than clairvoyants do. This is why you will sometimes find that a medium, not a clairvoyant, will be working with the police or authorities on murder cases.

Don't get me wrong, I respect clairvoyants a great deal - I am clairvoyant too! But there have been huge misunderstandings about the two separate gifts and I just wanted to clarify the difference.

There are some psychic medium, spiritual medium who walk in the darkness and cause negative feeling with other people around them. Many don't like me to admit it and some try to argue the case that many mediums who are not tuned in correctly are simply under more stress and they try to offload a lot of their hang-ups on the client that they are working with.

I would recommend not trying to do healing or medium work when you are feeling off-balance yourself, unless you know how to control your energies and I can tell you that it’s not a pleasant thing when they are not turned in correctly.
